It was a great day for business networking on the golf course for the Institute of Business Leaders inaugural golf event at Parkwood International Golf Club. An enthusiastic group of players (and some noteable non-players) turned out for the four-ball ambrose tournament.

IBL’s David Goodenough and Robyn Larance had done a wonderful job of organising the event with the help of Luke Bryden and the team at Parkwood International.

The course provided some challenges for many – and I observed a few balls going for a swim at the tricky 10th hole. It seemed that the water was drawing the players towards it – perhaps something to do with the gorgeous Annika from the Marriott Hotel who was serving Saki…? Benihana restaurant at the Marriott had also provided some delicious sushi and there were fabulous chocolates from the hotel patisserie as well. Thank you Annika!! I was quite happy to hang out at the 10th for the afternoon.
